Folks did pretty well on their predictions last week. Most people thought that something might happen, and nothing really did, but there was a geomagnetic storm warning in effect when the predictions were made, so there had been some good activity and there was no reason to think that ere wouldn't be some more activity. The storm warning was cancelled on the 25th when it was decided that the particles would not hit the magnetic field of earth after all, due to interference with a strong solar wind at the time.
